• You will gain a minimum of 2 hours per day teaching experience and classroom contact time to quote on your resume in addition to the hours from your teaching certificate
• You will be providing a service to the community and giving opportunity for native language access to local children
• If you are unsure about the nature of a career in teaching, you will be able to try it out over a short period of time before committing to a standard teaching contract of a year or more 
  
  Please note:
• This course requires an 8 week commitment: the first 4 weeks for the TEFL course and a subsequent 4 weeks of volunteer teaching
• As for the standard TEFL course , homestay with a local family is included
• All teaching locations are with in walking distance of your homestay and the Dunham Institute.

The program lasts 8 weeks and has a cost of US$1950.00

Interested in taking Spanish lessons during your month of teaching?

There is an option to include 2 hours of Spanish lessons per day in your program for the duration of the last 4 weeks of your course. All classes are taught by certified teachers from the local community that have more than 5 years experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

Cost for the language lessons is an additional US$450.

Total cost for the course including Spanish; US$1950 + US$450 = US$2400
